add text in a form's datacard via a button

Hello !

I'm making an app for a school... I have a form with several datacards linked to a selected entry of a table. One of these datacards is a multiline Text Input. It contains the courses that pose a problem to a student (French, Dutch, ...)

I can modify and add entries in the table, it's ok (NewForm en EditForm).

For a user, typing text in the multiline Text Input with a tablet take too much time. I would like to have a button (of a ListBox ) that automatically adds text to the content already present in the multiline TextInput from de form...

I don't find how to do this 😞

Thanks

Re: add text in a form's datacard via a button

Thanks a lot 🙂

I think that I solved my problem with a variable and the command UpDateContext. The DataCardValue is linked directly to the variable, and the button concatenate the new and the old content of the variable...

I think that it isn't possible to change directly a DataCardValue...

Hi @Audry002,

I think the following article would be helpful for your to deal with the current situation:

UX Patterns:Multi-select

For how the Form and the DataCard works, please check:
