I am a financial planner. Could I use Powerapps to track client asset details, like life insurance, real estate, securities? Could I seach across all client records for specific items, like term insurance expiration dates? In other words, will this function like a relattionalmdatabase?
Hi Randylue,
We can use PowerApps to track client asset details. First of all, we should have a data source to store all the data. Such as SharePoint, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. Then create a connection to the data source. For more details about PowerApps connections list, and data source, please see the article below:
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/connections-list/
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/working-with-data-sources/
With the connections created, we could create an app based on the data source. This article might be a reference for you:

We could use Search function to search through all client records for specific items. Please see this article about Filter, Lookup, Search function:

Please feel free reply if you need more help.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
Great! I need help of a financial planner to understand Capital gain Bonds and other investment options. Want to invest some money but have no idea where to invest funds. Can you suggest a good option for me? It has just been 3 years since I am earning but have zero investments.
