lookup in datatable

I use a datable control to show the work experience of every applicants

so i have a gallery of applicants, and a datatable in which i see the work experience of the selected applicant (Filter('Esperienze professionali';Candidato=Listacandidati.Selected.IDcandidato))

the problem is that some column of the datatable are numbers cause they are IDs (i.e. the "position"), and i want to use lookup

i tried

the first strange thing is that i had to use "thisitem.Posizione" and not "posizione" that is the numeric field in "work experiences" table, but it's not a big problem

the problem is that the column of the datatable returns in every row the same value, even that there are differents id

some idea?

Re: lookup in datatable

Your expressions seem correct at first glance; can you list the fields in the 'Esperienze professionali' and 'Professioni' data sources (and what is the source of the data)?

I've attempted to recreate your scenario (using local collections), and the lookup worked as expected:

You can look at the attached app to see if there is something different than your case. To open it, save it locally, then go to, select Open (Apri) -> Browse (Sfoglia), and find the file that you saved.

Hope this helps!
