"The requested operation is invalid. Server Response: Delete Failed for table row of type 'RTS"

Hi,  Can't seem to delete (using remove OR removeif) functions in PowerApp

The system throws the error "The requested operation is invalid. Server Response: Delete Failed for table row of type 'RTS<MyTableAbreviation'

I have a second Entity that it is trival to remove from?  What is type RTS?  Is that Real Time Searchable?

Hi Kevin,

Did you mean that Remove/RemoveIf functions do not work in your app? What were you trying to delete? What is the formula and control?

Regards,

Mona

Re: "The requested operation is invalid. Server Response: Delete Failed for table row of type '

Hi; Sorry for the confusion.  Yes I was using the remove and removeif functions.  it was trivial on Table B but for Table A it never worked.

I did manage a work around, that was to copy the table A and update the app to reflect the new table name (Table C).  Really strange.  Only thing I can figure is with my Office E1 subsrciption maybe once 15 days passes it locks out the table remove... But I could add?

The only other change I made (before I copied) was to uncheck the "searchable" option on a number of fields.

As for the formulas I tried (and are now working with new table )   they are:

1) - Blow all data away - RemoveIF('TableB',true); RemoveIf('TableC',true)

2)  - Remove a single row - Remove('TableB',ThisItem) - this one is called from within a cutom text Gallery

3)  - Remove the parent and all child entities - RemoveIF('TableB', ID=Value(ThisItem.PrimaryID)); Remove('TableC', ThisItem)

By table I mean custom entity in power apps
