500 items limit on listbox items with cdm entity

how to fix 500 items limit on listbox items with cdm entity. I have CDM products entity with 800 items and I want to use multiselect filter to filter products. This is a requirement. I can not use gallery as I need multi select filter.

I recommend using a combinatin of Gallery and a Collection to simulate the multiselection capability of a ListBox.

  1. Add Gallery1.
  2. Add Button1 into Gallery1 to show your items.
  3. Set Button1.OnSelect to collect that item into Collection1:
    If(ThisItem in Collection1,

    Remove(Collection1,ThisItem),

    Collect(Collection1,ThisItem)

    )
    This means, "If the item you select is already in Collection1, remove it, otherwise, add it to the collection." It is pretty much multi-select.
  4. Set Button1.Fill or Gallery1.TemplateFill to show that an item is in Collection1 (show that it is multi-selected):
    If(ThisItem in Collection1,

    RGBA(color you want to use for showing selection),

    RGBA(0,0,0,0)

    )
  5. I recommend setting either a button, the OnVisible, or OnHidden properties of the screen to clear the "multiselection."
    Clear(Collection1)
  6. To reference the multiselection to filter another gallery, use in or exactin:
    Filter(Gallery2,

    field exactin Collection1.field

    )

ListBoxes are convenient, but I find Galleries much more flexible.

Thanks. How do I unselect. I do not want to overcomplicate my scripts. I need listbox behavior using listboxes. I am now trying to find a workaround on how to get around 500 items limit in listboxes...
