A simple Navigate() not working?

It's been a while since I used PowerApps, so I'm not sure if my memory is just failing me.. but here it goes. I have a gallery button that I want to navigate to another screen when pressed, but the event won't fire.

I've got Navigate(screen) as the command. And the 'screen' exists. Nothing happens. I tried just slapping a button on my Canvas app to do the same thing, it too won't do anything. I'm using an up-to-date Google Chrome browser. I'm confused, has something changed around simple screen navigation? Here is the output from the Monitor for the simple button example.

{
"status": null,
"duration": null,
"dataSource": null,
"responseSize": null,
"controlName": "Button1",
"propertyName": "OnSelect",
"nodeId": null,
"formulaData": {
"script": "Navigate(NewUserScreen)\r\n",
"spanStart": null,
"spanEnd": null
},
"data": {
"context": {
"entityName": "Button1",
"propertyName": "OnSelect",
"diagnosticContext": {
"formula": "Navigate(NewUserScreen)\r\n"
}
}
}
}

@JamesM ,

What is the /r/n on the end of your navigate formula?

It's not there in the formula bar, just in the monitor data. It's just a carriage return or something. I removed it but it makes no difference.

Edited. Wrong screenshot.

@JamesM ,

If you put that command on a button, does it work? Also where are you running it from now?
