API Calls in PowerApp using sharepoint list and limitations

from the article https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/api-request-limits-allocations#request-limits-... I understand that there is a limit on the API calls for the user.

  1. How to find the no of API calls made / Is there any way to find if we reached this quota?
  2. What are the operations contributing to this count?
  3. How many API calls are made for formulas? ( I have formulas such as ForAll ( ) , Filter(), FirstN() etc. )

You'll find out when you hit an API limit when the app stops loading data properly. You can get a sense of how many API calls are being made by running a Monitor session while using your app.

You are right in that many data operations generate an API call. If functions such as LookUp(), Filter(), Search(), Collect() and connectors query something other than an internal collection, you are almost certainly making an API call. Your app will become more responsive the more you minimize these external data queries.

Hope that helps,

Bryan
