About Scanning in Canvas

Screen Shot 2562-06-25 at 09.17.21.png

Im stuck with this problem for awhile. When I scan the Qr code with has somebody name, if the name that I scan math with the data name that I have, when I click  (>) it shiuld nevigate to that persone DetailScreen1.

However, my problem is when I click (>) it's go to someonelses DetailScreen1.

If("Jame" exactin Table1.Nam , Navigate([@DetailScreen1]), UpdateContext({pop: true}) )

This is my code. "Jame" is in my data table. So, when the condation is true, like I said, when I click (>), it go to someelse detailscreen1. If I want to Navigate to "Jame" DataScreen what should I do?

Any suggestion?

Re: About Scanning in Canvas

Hi @Premwong13 ,

Could you please share a bit more about your issue?

Do you create a Detail screen for each user in your Table within your app?

Further, could you please show more details about the Detail screen within your app? Do you add a Display form within it? Do you add the ">" icon within a Gallery?

I assume that you add a Display form within your Detail screen, is it true? Within your Detail screen, please set the Item property of Display form to following:

LookUp(Table1, Nam = "Jame")

Set the OnSelect property of the ">" icon to following:

If("Jame" in Table1.Nam , Navigate(DetailScreen1), UpdateContext({pop: true}) )

If the name value is captured from the Barcode scanner control, please take a try with the following workaround:

Set the OnScan property of the Barcode scanner control to following:

Set(CurrentName, BarcodeScanner1.Value)

Set the OnSelect property of the ">" icon to following:

If(CurrentName in Table1.Nam , Navigate(DetailScreen1), UpdateContext({pop: true}) )

Within your Detail screen, please set the Item property of Display form to following:

LookUp(Table1, Nam = CurrentName)

In addition, if you add a Gallery control within your app to list the retrieved users, please take a try with the following workaround:

Set the OnScan property of the Barcode scanner control to following:

Set(CurrentName, BarcodeScanner1.Value)

Set the Items property of the Gallery to following:

Filter(
Table1,
If(
IsBlank(CurrentName),
true,
Nam = CurrentName
)
)

Then within your Detail screen, set the Items property of the Display form to following:

Table1               /* <-- Bind your Display form to Table1 */

please set the Item property of Display form to following:

Gallery1.Selected

Please take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.
