Accessing variable in a different screen

Is there a way to access an element in another (inactive) screen? Or even to get a screen in a different screen?

I want to check if in my previous screen which item from a gallery is selected. (I cannot send it as a variable through Navigate( ) since I navigate through a component.)

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

Re: Accessing variable in a different screen

You can check this without a variable, just use galleryName.Selected
