Active Directory Data into SharePoint List

I am looking for a way, possibly with a scheduled powershell script. To update a SharePoint List with certain items from Active Directory... Basically I want to create a systems catalog on SharePoint. So in active directory I have Location, ComputerNames, Computer Networks, System  Owner, etc.. These objects are updated in Active Directory. I want to be able to populate a SharePoint list with these specific items so they can be properly viewed and managed by system admins. See attached sample catalog that I would keep on SharePoint.. Anyone have any recommendations on methods to keep the list updated automatically from AD?

Hi

Parse JSON needs the schema, if you run Search for users for one user (type in a name in the Search term) then go to run history and copy everything from value, go back to your flow and select ‘generate from sample’ in your Parse JASON command and paste the value there. It will generate the schema for you.

Hi Elif,

Thank you for the reply. I am able to pick up the schema now but still cannot parse the JSON. If you do not mind helping a little more, I would appreciate it. All I am trying to do is load a Sharepoint list with one column called Display Name, which I am trying to get from M365.

Here is the setup:

But it errors out because the Content is not in a JSON format:

If I change Contend to be "body" instead of "Display Name", it errors out telling me that it is looking for an array but received an object. I have tried tweaking the JSON schema to only have Display Name as required. I have tried removing the "array" line so it begins with "object" (like your example does). But it always errors out one way or another.

Any ideas on what I should be doing? I haven't even gotten to try to load it to a list yet.

Hi

1. Did you use 'Generate from sample'? and did you copy everything? please make sure you have copied the exact generated schema (I missed a curly bracket once for example). 

2. The error message says 'provided value can not be parsed'; did you try running it only for one person and see what is returned as the value?

3. If you don't worry about parse JSON it still should work; this works for me:

Yes, I tried all of those things, except NOT using JSON, and that worked!  Not sure why parsing didn't work but no matter.
