Add Peninput sketch to Dynamics 365 to entity image.

Hi power users,

I am trying to add a pen input sketch from powerapps to dynamics 365 to a field entity image in crm.

heres the code

Patch(Consent, Defaults(Consent),{ _slgc_contact_value:Gallery1.Selected.contactid,slgc_consenttosupport:1,slgc_consenttoactonbehalfwith:0,slgc_consenthavebeenexplainedproperly:1,slgc_consenttocommunicatewith:0,Signature:First(Sketches).Image).

]

After long struggle i found First(Sketches).Image wont work out . i need to submit base64 code of the image. Is theres any way that i can create a base64 code of the image or i am missing anything? Any help is highly appreciated.

Re: Add Peninput sketch to Dynamics 365 to entity image.

The Short description on how to make this work is to save the pen input image in a JSON format asking the JSON function to include Binary Data:

Set( PenVar, JSON( PenInput1.Image,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData ) );

See here for details: https://iiu.dk/2019/10/12/powerapps-pen-input/

Remember to add a white color to your pen-input as the default transparent color will display black in CDS/Dynamics entity image
