Add Picture and upload to Dynamics

Hello.  The add picture element in my app works, but how to get the result stored in a note associated with the record?  I cannot find something online that explains how to map this.

If you have it as a standalone picture control on your app and not linked directly to a dataverse/dynamics field of type image then you will need a powerautomate flow to call from your app to store the image.

Hello, and thank you for replying, @Mira_Ghaly I would be open to storing it in a number of ways. 
I cannot have a field directly, because a limitation of Dynamics is only to have one picture field per form, and I already have the entity image.  I therefore need to add it to the notes on the record.

I have the app connected to my tables, including notes. 

I'm not sure what you would like a screenshot of.  I have a card, with the "Add picture" media, and it works in the app, I just have no way of getting the result sent to the notes of the record.

You can add as many as you like of type File or Image , and I believe that's the best approach.

So you can try be adding a new field and choose type File or Image please have a quick look on the article I have share above.

it doesn't help with my problem, but thank you for the effort.  As I mentioned, our version of Dynamics 365 does not allow for multiple image fields.  I need to be able to store it in notes.

I would advise looking at saving the file somewhere else (Azure Blob Storage, SharePoint, OD4B) and storing the URL only the database. We have some Apps that work well with this method.

Storing image data (or other large data, such as binaries) in a database is generally inadvisable as it will bloat the database resulting in increased cost (database storage is more expensive than file storage) and decreased performance (each record with an image is probably hundreds of times larger than records without so you get a knock effect on i/o, network traffic and so on) which is probably why support for images within Dynamics has been so limited.

Yes, and actually we already have a azure blob storage solutions, that provides url records to the relevant CRM entry.  This app is for field work though, and I wasn't assuming there would be many pictures, or that the pictures would stay there indefinitely before being processed.  I would be happy mapping the picture to attached notes, or to the table directly for storage.  It sounds like there isn't an easy solution for this, and I may have to contact the developers who created the azure storage solution for us.

I believe your app looks like something below, The Gallery on the Left is for the accounts and on the Right is the Picture control you would like to save in DataVerse.

To save the image correctly to dataverse please use the below Patch on the Button on select as below:
