I have a simple Organization Chart that consists of several galleries in a Canvas Power App that all connect to a list of employees on SharePoint and adds their photo and title from an Office 365 connector. We have remote staff all around the country and folks would like me to add an indication of what time zone each person is in.
I can pull in the location of the individuals via the Office 365 connector (e.g. Office365Users.UserProfile(ThisItem.EID).OfficeLocation) or Office365Users.UserProfile(ThisItem.EID).PostalCode, but I found it does not reflect their actual location. Instead it just lists the location of our HQ. I would like to add the time zone setting from their computer, and I noticed this is captured in Microsoft Teams. So I thought maybe it would be something I could connect to, but I'm not sure how? The tag below appears when I hover on a contact in Microsoft Teams and little tag like that is exactly what I would like to add to the org chart app:
Any help/insight is much appreciated!
Hi there @Hsnowbee
Don't know much about this topic mas maybe this other Topic can help:
This uses GPS to know the exact location. From here on, you could get the timezone in that country/region.
