Add information from Sharepoint List item to attachment in that item

I've been breaking my head over this part for some time now. Hopefully the people on this forum can help me steer in the right direction.

 

I created a SharePoint List where people can place their seed requests. In this form they have to put some specifics like due dates, requirements, shipping addresses etc. This works well for now. In this form they can add an attachment with the specific numbers they want to order. this can differ from 1 number till 1000 numbers.

 

I am looking for a way to maybe add the information from the form to the excel attachment, or maybe to create an online sheet, where they can copy the numbers, and we can decide what information or columns are necessary. This might make it easier to link the information from the attachment and the item. I hope I make myself clear. If not, please ask for clarification.

Could you please share more details about your scenario? Would you like to add the list item values into the attachment that this item included?

 

If you would like to create a new item with attachment first and update the attachment, I'm afraid there is no way to achieve that. I would recommend:

1. Create the list item.

 

2. Store a blank excel table in your library as the template and use a flow to update this excel table with the list values, the flow should:

    2.1 copy the file and rename it with some user info.

    2.2 add a row into the table using list item values.

    2.3 add this file to the list as the attachment.

    2.4 delete the file that copied.

 

I'm not very sure of the last phrase in your post. If I have misunderstandings please let me know.

 

In addition, if you have premium licenses, you will be able to achieve you need by using the "send an http request" action to add rows to the attachment, please refer to following blog:

I've added an example as an attachment. Currently I'm getting some necessary data (the top part) from a Sharepoint List form. The bottom part is still in an excel file. I would like to get the information from the top part together with the bottom part, as they will print it, and use the total list to look for the codes. 
I want the information in the Sharepoint list, as it will save us a lot of manual work, and it gives an opportunity for our customers to see the status of their request.

I've some options in mind to achieve this:

- Create a list item and combine it with the attachment (I will try your proposal)

- Create an online environment where they can fill in the List details, and paste their request list (the codes)

- Upload the excel list, and read the top part into a Sharepoint list (although now I can use requester names from our company and shipping addresses I predefined in a Sharepoint list).

 

I'm open for any solution you think is wise.
