Add picture control behaviour on Powerapps desktop

Hi,

I have an Add Picture control on a screen. When I use the control on power apps desktop, the file types are restricted to pictures only. However, if I play the same App via the browser, I am able to upload other file types like .doc. Is there a work around to allow all file types on the desktop version?

Hi @Nkosana ,

I got the same result. I think this cannot be changed. We encourage you to use PowerApps on web than desktop studio.

Also, even if you could add the documents like words from Add picture, it won't show in the control. May I know the reason that you are doing this?

Hi Mona,

I am using the binary of the image to send it to a flow that uploads the file to sharepoint.
