I created a very simple SharePoint list, and I added an Image column. I have never used this kind of column before, so I was expecting that the form would have some sort of "Add and image" button or link, and it does when you use the default SharePoint form. See Image_Col in the form below:
The issue is that the moment you open the form in PowerApps Studio, the image field disappears:
I can't figure out how to add that field back. It is now even an option in the Add field.
Is this a normal behavior? Is there a way to add that field back or some workaround?
Thanks in advance
Yes, unfortunately, the Image type column is not currently supported in PowerApps. Consider using an attachment, a file library or other means to provide images in your app.
Sorry it's not a direct solution, but I hope this is helpful for you.
Hi,
you can use an attachment control to upload the files to a library and return the file link as a reference for the user to check.
Or
Use the library as a collection to show if you have multiple attachments.
To achieve this, you need to use Power Automate. It's a Lil tricky, so better you can follow @RandyHayes' video or any other. Please let me know if you need any further help. I can share the methods step by step.
Please give me a thumbs up if I answered your question.
Thanks
