All objects values lost if you change display settings

I use containers so I can make my app responsive. In a container, of course, I also use galleries containing fields and buttons.

For "width" I then use the value: "Parent.TemplateWidth".

For the display settings I use a "custom" value. All other settings result in apps with a very low resolution.

But suppose I now change the display settings from 1920 * 1080 to 1760 * 990. (16:9)

Then all settings like "Parent.width" and "Parent.TemplateWidth" are lost. The values then become numeric values again. Width then becomes 480 for example.

In a large app, you then have to reset hundreds of objects. A gigantic job.

I must be doing something wrong?

Hi @Frans_365CH ,

Unfortunately you have not done anything wrong - when you resize a canvas, Power Apps goes through and uses proportions on your existing setting. It seems it is not "smart enough" to apply this to formulas, so it simply uses the existing results of them to calculate the new values.

Thanks for your response...

It is a drama and in my opinion not as it should be.
