App loading in Studio incredibly slow today - 17 minutes!

Just waited 17 minutes for an app to load in Studio. Using Edge, Session ID: f3523545-f452-4899-890d-8983744d148f


It's quite a large app but this is ridiculous. Last saved in PowerApps version 3.19104.33. I've just made a minor change and saved again to bring it up to the latest version, but it still looks to be re-loading at a snail's pace..


I see there was an outage earlier today: is this to blame?

Since 3.19112.26 it's been loading in under a minute again. Shame, since I'm half way through a complete rebuild!

Is this resolved now or are you still facing it? 



Sadly no - just tried on Chrome this time (07:55 UTC), Session ID: 3b6a9751-f13e-4326-8318-d3320b6f5321, took about 18 minutes. Looking at Task Manager I can see the network activity level is really low - about 0.05Mbps.


Did it slow down recently? Any specific screens where the delay is more? Any more details about the app would be very helpful.

The app's datasources are 33 SQLServer tables/views, 16 Flows, 1 AzureBlobStorage. 12 screens, about 500 top-level controls in all (plus others within galleries, etc.).
So quite big, and as it has grown in size the time taken to open in Studio has lengthened a bit (up to about 20 seconds or so, which is not a problem), but there was a step change yesterday to the current 17 minutes. Saves take about 4 minutes, too.
I've tried the usual steps - 3 different browsers, 2 different internet connections, cleared caches. Also tried restoring to a (smaller) version from 3 days ago, in case additions made in the last day or two have caused the problem, but this version is just as slow loading. Even restored a version from 9 days ago - same.
This is the biggest of the apps I'm working on, but the next biggest - similar characteristics - is also pretty slow, taking about 3 minutes to load.
Are there any particular points to look for that might cause loading problems? types of connector, onstart routines, graphics, whatever..? Should I just raise a support ticket?
The app runs perfectly well, by the way - the problem is opening for edit, not for play.
