Apps no longer display using the PowerApps SharePoint web part with app ID

As of yesterday mid-day PST time my SharePoint customized list form apps no longer display in the PowerApp page web part using the app ID.

I just get a black space in the web part in Chrome, or a blank screen in the web part in Edge.

Has something changed in the PowerApps service/infrastructure for customized SharePoint forms?

Re: Apps no longer display using the PowerApps SharePoint web part with app ID

Hi @v-xida-msft and @v-xida-msft,

I'm displaying a customized SharePoint list form using the PowerApps web part in a SharePoint page

with the app ID of the SharePoint custom form. The issue was that the form was no longer displaying for some reason since yesterday. This was happening for two different custom list forms on different sites.

But shortly after posting my message on the forum the issue was resolved, as if a fix was implemented at the PowerApps service/infrastructure level

Re: Apps no longer display using the PowerApps SharePoint web part with app ID

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please share a bit more about the issue that you mentioned?

Do you mean that the custom form (created via PowerApps) for your SP list could not be displayed?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. The screenshot as below:2.JPG

Please consider take a try to clear cache of your browser, then try it again, check if the issue is solved.

In addition, please also consider take a try to remove the custom form from your SP List, then re-create a new one for it, check if the issue still exists.

More details about removing the custom form from SP list, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/customize-list-form#delete-the-custom-form

If you embedded this custom form within your SP Site Page, please consider remove the embedded app from your from the Site Page, then re-add it again, check if the issue is solved.

More details about embedding a canvas app within SP Site Page, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/embed-apps-dev

Re: Apps no longer display using the PowerApps SharePoint web part with app ID

Hi @v-xida-msft,

There is still lingering problem. The problem was briefly fixed but after there's been a delayed load of a minute for customized SharePoint forms in the PowerApps SharePoint webpart.

The customized form displays with a black screen initially for about a minute and then renders correctly. So there's definitely a performance problem happening with the PowerApps server or service or infrastructure.

We are seeing an issue with filtered data connections to Sharepoint as well. It works for some users and not others, and used to work fine before this week.
