Attachment Column not available with SharePoint 2013 on Premisses

Hello Guys,

For enabling attachment feature in Sharepoint custom list and use it in PowerApps Edit form, i had followed the official blog: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/add-attachments-to-sharepoint-lists/.

I'm using Sharepoint 2013 On Premises currently and when adding it as form datasource in PowerApps, i cannot see any Attachment field in my custom list but when using SharePoint Online, Attachment and Has Attachment field are present in custom list.

Is there any limitation with Attachment feature when using SharePoint 2013 On Premises? Please help with this as the limitation about Sharepoint On Premises is not mentioned in PowerApps official site.

Re: Attachment Column not available with SharePoint 2013 on Premisses

Hi @AMannan,

I have made a test and the issue is confirmed on my side.

Thanks for your feedback, I afraid that the Attachments option (feature) could only be supported in SharePoint Online currently when you use the Attachment feature within your app.

If you would like this feature to be added in SharePoint On-Premises, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

Best reagrds,

Kris

Re: Attachment Column not available with SharePoint 2013 on Premisses

Hi,

Please confirm, whether the attachment field is supported in powerapps if we use sharepoint list onpremises as a datasource for powerapps?

Thanks in advance,

K. Vigneshvaran.
