Attachment missing in SharePoint List when adding item with PowerApps

Hello All,

We have created a PowerApp to add item in the SharePoint list. We created a custom permission level with 'Add Item' Permission to all users. When users are submitting the item, it is getting saved in SharePoint list but without attachment. Users with Edit and higher level permission can save the attachment. What is the permission required for saving attachment in the SharePoint list via PowerApps?

Also with Custom SharePoint designer new item form, users are able to add/save attachment with same permission level.

Hi,

You seem to be contradicting yourself here. First you said you created a permission for the add item button but then say that users with edit level and save attachments fine. If you are looking for the permissions level required that should be it. Otherwise I dont think I understand what you are doing here. You can always create a case with Microsoft Support too, I'll include a link below; if you want to go down that route.

If you would like to create a ticket with Microsoft Customer Support here is a link on how to do so: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/get-help-support

Regards,

Alex

@Pratik6  I have the same issue intermittently with Power Apps Customized list forms. Have you figured out what the problem was?

@RameshMukka - To resolve our issue, we had to create new permission level with add + Edit permission and assign to users, as to work with attachment (save/update), user need to have minimum edit permission.
