Powerapps currently do not support uploading a local pdf file. The best that can be done currently is specifying a URL.

I suggest that you propose this feature in the PowerApps Ideas page

I didn't see a feature request for this in the Ideas Page, so I created one if you'd like to +1 it and boost support:

Hello everyone,

You can try:

1) Add an Add picture control
2)Change the filter (it was Image files and I chose All files).
3)Pick a pdf file from your local disk

The Add picture control will not display the pdf file.

4) Add a PDF Viewer control.
5)Set the Document property of the PDF Viewer Control to AddMediaButton1.Media
6)You can see the pdf file 🙂

It worked for me, but only on my PC. I tried it on my android phone and I couldn't pick the pdf file (Step 3)

Please if someone can find a way to make it work on a android phone let us know.
