Is it possible for someone working in a power app to attach a file? I know it can save camera files, but what about documents?
example I have a "career opportunities" power app, and I want the User to attach a resume, which on submit I would move into a Document Library.
Are you asking about attachments and Document Library on SharePoint?
PowerApps does not yet support attachments and Document Libraries for SharePoint. That support will be coming in a future release.
I was asking two questions:
1. Can I attach files to a Power App form?
2. Can I then submit the form and have the attachment moved to a document library?
I understood 'no' for #2, what about #1?
Attaching files (in general, not just images) to a form and having the submission process move them automatically to a document library is not currently supported in PowerApps.
Any updates on Attachment upload or any time line.
Also i was trying to upload images which also seems to be that its not support at the moment.
Please do let me know if i can still upload images.
I didn't see a feature request for this in the Ideas Page, so I created one if you'd like to +1 it and boost support:
I was wondering if it is possible to achieve this using flow? So I created an app and added the upload button, but when I go into my phone library I see that all the documents are greyed out. please does this mean this upload button only workd for pictures? Thank you.
Then the upload file to sharepoint from powerapps flow is that only for images?
Someone can make this possible with flows?, i need the exact same thing, upload files like file picker from my pc to Sharepoint list or document librarly... I tried this template: https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/1f4a2b1b99e64e8dbb81b7c47cc5bb11/upload-...
And i can create a file (without extension of any type) with the name of the form fields, in the folder picked from the form fields, and i guess content from the form fields, but this file created is unusable.
I tried to do the task with Controls-->Import thing, but i guess this effor is going to any result...
Anyone have more ideas, if Microsoft didnt response the request, come on here on the forums are some programmers? (i am one), so i will be this possible anyway with your help... Brainstorm young people...
Good template! I'm struggling uploading files (different format, including image) to 1) SQL, or 2) cloud server with file URL in SQL.It looks like there is still long waiting for PoweApps's solutin! Have you think about saving file to cloud server?
