Attachments of size 0KB are getting uploaded unlike SharePoint forms

Hi,

The PowerApp form is not showing any error message if the attachment size is 0kb, unlike the OOB sharePoint new item form functionality. The OOB form do not allow saving the new item if any attachmet have 0kb size..

Is this known issue.?

Thanks!

Hi @abd3127 ,

I just tested. It is true that when you add a 0KB file to PowerApps custom form and submit, it won't give any error. But after the item get submitted, then you will find that actually this 0KB file is not saved. It's just that PowerApps didn't give the error message.

It seems that so far you cannot check the file size of each files that you added to Attachment control inside PowerApps. According to  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-attachments, there is no such property for Attachment control.

You could try to submit an idea in PowerApps Idea forum to ask for this feature if you really need it:
