Attention: Microsoft SharePoints Column naming has been changed

Dear PowerUsers,

theres another undocumented change in how SharePoint lists are created in the Backend.

This change will impact you if you copy / migrate PowerApps or PowerAutomate Flows to another SharePoint environment or even another SharePoint list.

Here it is:

When creating a Column in a SharePoint list, for example: 'Employee E-Mail', the column in the past got saved as 'Employee_x0020_E-Mail' in the SharePoint backend. Every PowerApp or PowerAutomate Flow will relate to the field 'Employee_x0020_E-Mail'.

Now I noticed today, because my flows and PowerApps wont work anymore after i migrated them to another SharePoint, that they will get saved differently in the Backend.

For Example: 'Employee_x0020_E-Mail' is now saved as 'EmployeeE-Mail'. This will cause some trouble at many users - you have to update every affected column manually. Honestly, i am a bit pissed off about all these minor changes that wont get communicated to PowerApps / SharePoint / PowerAutomate users - it costs a lot of time to find out whats the matter......

I hope i can help the one or the other with this information! Have a great day.
