I have created a basic PowerApp for equiptment inspection purposes which uses a SharePoint list as the data source. Each inspection has a title, and coloum for "previous score", and "current score".
When a user adds a new item using the app and selects the equiptment from a drop down, is there anyway to have the field "previous score" auto populate from the most recent inspection of that asset pulling from the last inspections "current score". If yes can you see this right away while in the edit forum or do you need to save the item first and then go to view forum?
You can use a gallery to view the data.
Then use the filter to the source data & use your drop down as a logic to your filter.
Filter(Products, Value(Available) <= Value(Dropdown2.Selected.Value))
Did you mean that in the Edit Form of a new item, you want the "previous score" data card to be auto filled with the value from last submitted item's "current score"? Are both "previous score" and "current score" fields number column type?
If so, you can set the Default property of the Label control in previous score data card to below formula to make this work:
Thanks thats a big help! Does the previous submit need to be in the browse gallery or can it look directly to the SharePoint list? Currently my BrowseGallery only shows items done that week however I could look at expanding it if needed to get this to auto populate
I think this is pulling the last entries score regardless of the item selected?
My title coloum is called "Equiptment" an is a drop down with the name of the equiptment. For simplicity lets say the options are Generator, Pump, and Compressor. When an inspection is completed the user selects the equiptment peice, and among other things gives it a score in the "current score" field which is a number.
I am wanting a user to add a new entry through the edit form, select the equiptment from the drop down, and have the "previous score" field auto populate with the last "current score" entry of that specific peice of "equiptment".
Is that possible?
