Auto-populating word docs with attachements in Power Apps.

All,

I'm attempting to create an auto-populate word doc.

The doc requires both text and pictures to be pulled through.

Is this possible with the power apps pulling text through from the text inputs and also pictures through from the attachments?

Thank you,

CH

Hi @Channah ,

Pictures are just as easy - you put a picture control in the Word template and then use Get file content using path in the Flow and send the full path and name of the picture in the Library to this. The output then goes in the picture field in the Word merge.

Hi @Channah ,

Yes - the Word Online (Business) Connector does this very well and quite easily using Power Automate. It is a Premium Connector however and requires a Per User Licence.

Hi Warren,

Thanks for you response.

I am attempting to find a tutorial for how the pictures are pulled through using the flow but haven't had any luck, pulling through text seems very easy.

My end goal would be to have an number of text inputs that pull through to the word document and then for each of the pictures (varying numbers) I add as attachments to pull through at the end of the document.

Do you know of any sources or tutorials I could use to learn how to pull the pictures through?

Thanks,

CH
