Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?
Do you want to turn off the "Auto save" option within Account setting?
I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. Please take a try to clear cache of your browser, and then try it again on your side, check if the issue is solved.
In addition, you could also consider take a try to turn off this option within an app. You should open an app firstly, then click File->Account->turn off the "Auto save" option, then do some changes within your app (e.g. add a Button control, and then delete it), then click "Save" button, check if the issue is solved.
