Automatically put an email inside of my collection

Hello!

Currently I am using the email function that looks like this: https://gyazo.com/3148b0cf7912bd5b95a39d29af560bbb

I basically need to automatically add an email adres to it. This email adres is coming from the DataCardValue17_2.Text. How can I do this?

This is the code for the send button:

Set(
    emailontvanger,
    Concat(
        MyPeople,
        Mail & ";"
    )
);
Office365Outlook.SendEmail(
    emailontvanger,
    OnderwerpTekst.Text,
    BerichtTekst.Text,
    {Importance: "High"}
);
Reset(OnderwerpTekst);
Reset(BerichtTekst);
Clear(MyPeople)

Hi @Anonymous ,

Using your regional syntax, it probably should be

Office365Outlook.SendEmailV2(
   Concat(
      MyPeople,
      Mail & ";"
   ) & DataCardValue17_2.Text,
    OnderwerpTekst.Text,
    BerichtTekst.Text,
    {Importance: "High"}
);
Reset(OnderwerpTekst);
Reset(BerichtTekst);
Clear(MyPeople)

Thank you @WarrenBelz for your reply. However, this will add the user whenever you press the button. Is there a way to do this whenever you see this screen? So maybe on the "OnVisible"? I want people that use this to know that they are also sending it to that email.

OK @Anonymous ,

I have probably come in a little late on this and was simply looking at your syntax.

You certainly could put that code at screen OnVisible and it would work, but when you say  I want people that use this to know that they are also sending it to that email, do you want to notify them as well? If so, put this on the end of the code

Notify(
   "Emails sent to " & Concat(MyPeople, Mail & ";" ) & DataCardValue17_2.Text, NotificationType.Information
)

If I put this inside of the OnVisible. Do I have to remove something from the "send" button? I do not want to notify them, so that code is not needed @WarrenBelz

@Anonymous ,

I am sorry, but I am a bit lost here. You can send the email by whatever means you want. The button and OnVisible are simply two ways. If you send at the OnVisible, you do not need it on the button otherwise you would be sending it twice.

Sorry for not explaining it more clearly. @WarrenBelz

This is how my application looks:
https://gyazo.com/37bf2a28a2e13d6e985de0aa77da7503

So basically whenever an email is searched for and clicked on, it will add the email to the users that the mail will be send too. As you can see in the screenshot, I've already added "Administrator". So let's say this email is inside of the datacardvalue. I want that email to be filled in automatically whenever they get on this screen. They can add users if they want to.

I think all we need to do is put the value from the datacardvalue17_2 inside of the MyPeople gallery.

Hope this has made it more clear.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Yes that is a bit clearer now - a bit hard to visualize before. Yes - you would simply Collect that value into the MyPeole collection as that is the basis for the start of the addresses in your email.

How do I do that?

@Anonymous ,

I was simply agreeing with your suggestion and assumed you knew how to do this.

So what are the Items of the MyPeople gallery and if a collection what are the fields and how do you collect it?

That is totally fine. @WarrenBelz

I think we need this code for it, this is the OnSelect code of my addicon:

Collect(MyPeople;
{DisplayName: ZoekenNaarEmails.Text; UserPrincipalName: ZoekenNaarEmails.Text; Mail: ZoekenNaarEmails.Text});;
Reset(ZoekenNaarEmails)
