Azure SQL Server database calls takes minutes instead of seconds

Since today everyone using the app noticed extreme delays. After my investigation, it seems that the calls to Azure SQL Server are taking minutes instead of seconds. Was anything changed in PowerApps that impact the load times so much? The app was working perfectly (database calls taking few seconds) until today.

Strangely enough, the Azure SQL Server actually hosts two databases for two separate apps. Other app database call times are fine it seems that only the other app is affected. Moreover, the app which is super slow today has the better database (S2 Standard 50 DTUs vs Basic 5 DTUs).

Anyone noticing something similar with their apps? Any tips on how to solve? Again, the app was working fast for past two weeks only today everything seems to be extremely slow in the app anytime there is a call to the database.

The problem went away just as mysteriously as it came. Seems to have been a hiccup somewhere on the network. Hopefully does not happen often Smiley LOL

We seem to be experiencing the same issue...

Power BI seems uneffected, yet all apps connected to the Azure SQL dstabase are suddenly unusable due to this lag.

Any other organizations experiencing this problem?

Ours has also just resolved itself without intervention on our end.

This is occuring again today.

Apps that connect to the Common Data Service don't seem to be impacted as signfigantly as those connected to SQL server.

It started again today. Extreamly slow loading from Azure SQL Connnection. Any info from Microsoft wha tmight be causing this? Everything seems to be working fine but now you have to literally wait 2-3 minutes for any data to load as opposed to 1-2 seconds.

All server health reports in Azure say everything is running smooth.

We just noticed it again as well. CDS connected apps are unaffected.
