Azure Tables Connector

I can create the the Azure Tables Connector and it shows as connected however when I come to use the connector in a Powerapp it does not show. I can access the Storage Blobs in the same storage account but not Tables.

Hi @kev17 ,

Where do you want to use the Azure Tables connection in your canvas app? In Edit form? Gallery? Data Table?

Firstly, the important thing you need to know is that the Azure Table Storage Connector is a Action data source (e.g. Azure Storage Blob, Office 365 Users, ...) rather than Tabular data source (e.g. Excel table, SP List, SQL Table) in PowerApps.

So you could not reference the Azure Tables connection as a Tabular data source in your canvas app. In other words, you could not connect the Edit form, Data Table, Gallery, .... to the Azure Table Storage connection directly, instead, you need to execute available actions exposed under the Azure Table Storage connector.

On your side, you could consider add a Gallery control in your app, set the Items property to following:

AzureTableStorage.GetTables().value

then check if related Table names would be displayed within the Gallery. When you type a . operator after the the AzureTableStorage, these available actions would be shown up like below:

More details about available actions under the Azure Table Storage connector, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/azuretables/#actions

More details about Data Source types supported in PowerApps, please check the following article:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections-list

Thank you that make sense. It was in Edit Form. I'm new to this so trying to get my head around it

How were you able to connect Power Apps to Azure Table Storage? When I look at your link:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/azuretables/#actions
it shows that the connector is not available for Power Apps.

Is this lost functionality since your post? Is there a work-around?
