BUG: In PA Studio, timers run no matter the screen

Hello,

Unless I'm missing something, there appears to be a bug introduced in a recent release of the PowerApps Studio.

Scenario:

- I have a 5 second timer on the "Success" screen of my app

- OnTimerEnd, user is Navigated back to the "Start" screen

Previously: When working in the Studio, this timer would only run when I was on the "Success" screen AND in Preview Mode.

Now: When working in the Studio, the timer runs when I'm on ANY screen.

- I have to close and reopen the app to stop the behavior.

- Whenever I activate the timer by visiting the "Success" screen, the problem starts over.

- Issue DOES NOT happen in the app Player, only the Studio.

PA Studio Version: 3.20053.26

Hope this helps!

Is your auto start property set?

Hi @jlindstrom ,

I have the AutoStart property of the timer on the "Success" screen set to true.

The docs for this property state:

"AutoStart – Whether the timer control automatically starts to play when the user navigates to the screen that contains that control."

Which is the behavior I expect. Only run the timer when I'm on the screen. And that works EXCEPT when I'm in the PowerApps Studio. In which case the timer runs regardless of the screen I'm on (once its been triggered), hence this bug report.
