Dear all,
I'm building an app where the start point is the scan of a QR codes.
I don't find a possibility to show 'live view' scanning in the current screen without pressing a button. the scanning screen always opens in a separate screen after pressing a button. So basically what i want to achieve is the following (screenshot underneath).
Is there a possibility ?
.
Thanks for your help
Kind regards
Steve
Hi @Desmedts ,
Please try to go to File-Settings-Advanced Settings-Experimental Features to enable the Web barcode scanner function, then insert a Web Barcode Scanner into the App.
For more information about this: Web barcode scanner control (experimental) in Power Apps
Hope this helps.

Dear, @v-siky-msft
Thanks for this reply, i've tried your solution and the scan screen is shown in real time. So far so good.
The problem i got now is that my phone doesn't recognize the qr code.
Any idea on how to recognize the QR code ?
Kind regards
Steve
Hi @Desmedts ,
As mentioned in docs, the web barcode scanner has been phased out due to poor performance which could be the cause that QR code can't be recognized.
If this way doesn't work, the only option is Barcode Scanner, but I'm afraid that the requirement of live camera in screen can't be implemented.
If you want this feature, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum.
Hope this helps.
