Birthday Live Wall

Hey All,

i have a specific requirement that to create a birthday wall within powerapps. Now i have the employee name and his birth date stored in the list. 
Now , what i would want to do is , create a wall/gallery to showcase birthdays for each month. 
For example, if there are 20 peoples birthday in January then it show show the users image and birthrate on the wall.

 

Now the wall should show birthdays based upon real month. So if the month is January 31st , on Feb 1st it should show list of employees name with their birth date for February only and no other month. 

also the gallery should have the feature to be filtered by months and year. (if possible)

The point is using Filter function and Month function.

I've made a test for your reference:

1\I created a data source with a button (for demonstration)

 

Collect(employeeslist,{Name:"lee",Birathday:Date(1997,5,8)},{Name:"dfg",Birathday:Date(1997,4,8)},{Name:"lee",Birathday:Date(1948,5,48)},{Name:"wang",Birathday:Date(1958,5,8)},{Name:"lee2",Birathday:Date(1997,5,8)},{Name:"max",Birathday:Date(1997,5,8)},{Name:"john",Birathday:Date(2000,7,18)},{Name:"lee",Birathday:Date(1997,7,20)})

 

2\Add a dropdown control(Dropdown1)-I use it to select the month I need

Items

 

[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12]

 

3\Add a gallery and set it's Items property to:

 

Filter(employeeslist,Month(Birathday)=Dropdown1.Selected.Value)

@v-bofeng-msft what if i want the wall to automatically show me data based on the current month. 

so the code for the items property of the gallery would be like below?

 

Filter(employeeslist,Month(Birathday)=Month(Now()))
