Blank as default selected items on Peoplepicker comboBox if no record found on sharepointlist

hey guys

I just have a problem with my DEFAULTSELECTEDITEMS. I just want to show the user who is the default person based from the sharepointlist that I have and when it's empty it should just shows as blank. however what's happening is if it's blank it's getting the first item on the dropdown.

here is my code:

If(IsEmpty(LookUp(List,ID=varRecord.ID).Manager),"",
Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm: varRecord.Manager}))

The issue is with the true ""

Hi @nagestiada ,

Why not go the other way

If(
   !IsBlank(
      LookUp(
         List,
         ID=varRecord.ID
      ).Manager,
      Office365Users.SearchUser(
         {searchTerm: varRecord.Manager}
      )
   )
)

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

lol did not realized that. It Worked! I still have another issue with my standalone dropdowns.

I am using a standalone dropdown and trying to configure the default property. I am not sure what's wrong with this

If( !IsBlank( LookUp( List, ID=varRecord.ID ).Region), varRecord.Region,"" )

@nagestiada ,

Same thing (just delete the end bit) - also it is is a drop-down (not combo box), set the AllowEmptySelection to true
