Book A Room app not displaying meetings

Hi -

I have just downloaded this template - rooms are working fine, but the app is not displaying any of my meetings so that part isn't working. Just says I have no meetings for that day.

I have no error messages, and have not made any customisations.

Data connections are all fine - any ideas? UK based if that makes any difference.

Thanks 🙂

Re: Book A Room app not displaying meetings

Book a room without a meeting, becomes visible:

meetingAppCapture.PNGmeetingCapture.PNG

Update: Think I've found it - in the OnVisible property of the meeting select screen there is:

ClearCollect(FutureCalendarEvents,
Filter(
Office365.GetEventsCalendarViewV2(MyCalendar, Text(DateAdd(DateSelected, -1, Hours), UTC), Text(DateAdd(DateSelected, 1, Days), UTC)).value,
Organizer=MyName.Mail
)

It looks like its filtering out meetings that weren't created by me.

Changed it to :

ClearCollect(FutureCalendarEvents,
Office365.GetEventsCalendarViewV2(MyCalendar, Text(DateAdd(DateSelected, -1, Hours), UTC), Text(DateAdd(DateSelected, 1, Days), UTC)).value);

and all seems to be well 🙂

Re: Book A Room app not displaying meetings

Hi @hartzki

Got a few ideas so let's see what we can come up with:

Are you running the editor/App under your account or a shared 'service account' for building Apps or someone else's account?

Do your calendar items exist in your calendar or are they within another account calendar that you have access to?

I just created the book a room App from the template and it was ok, so I think the template is probably not the issue. Let me know answers to the above and maybe describe a bit more about your situation and hopefully we can get it resolved 😺

Thanks,

Sancho

Re: Book A Room app not displaying meetings

Hi @hartzki ,

Could you please share a screenshot about your issue in your template app?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, I have made a test on my side, and don't have the issue that you mentioned. Please consider create an app based on the "Book A Room (New)" app as below:

In addition, please consider remove the Office 365 Outlook connection from your app, then re-add a new one in it, replace Office365 within your formula with Office365Outlook.

Note: The Office 365 Outlook connection has been renamed from "Office365" to "Office365Outlook" already in PowerApps.

Re: Book A Room app not displaying meetings

@iAm_ManCat  - I am logged in with my accounts, and the meetings are in my calendar.

NoMeetingCapture.PNGCalendarCapture.PNG

sourcesCapture.PNG

If I book a room without a meeting, that appears in my calendar, and in the app, but I can't see the meetings that are already in my calendar.

@v-xida-msft  - If i remove and add the data source you suggest, I am then presented with around 300 errors in the app:

errorCapture.PNG

 thanks for your help
