Book a Room Template Exclude Rooms

Hello,

This is my first experience with powerapps.

We are willing to use the Book A Room template.

We are using sevral rooms, so i want to exclude some rooms in a app.

But how and where do i filter these rooms that i need in the specific app.

Thanks a lot!

Re: Book a Room Template Exclude Rooms

Hi @yashag2255,

Thanks for your reply!

See the picture in running mode:

Within our 12 Rooms, we have 6 appointment rooms and 5 cars (last room in the picture is an example)
I am thinking to make 2 app's:

- Book a Room (6 appointment rooms)

- Book a Ride (5 cars/buses)

Main question: How can i excude our buses and cars in the app 'Book a Room' and also how can i exlude the appointment rooms in our second app 'Book a Ride'

Please let me know if something is unclearly

Re: Book a Room Template Exclude Rooms

Hi @BartMaatje ,

Do you want to classify data to room and ride?

Here are two tips for your reference:

1)name the room name with "name", like 001room, 002room,...

Add a radio control.

Set the radio's Items:

["Book a room","Book a ride"]

Set the RoomsListsGallery's Items:

If(Radio1.Selected.Value="Book a room",Filter(available room lists, "room" in name),
Filter(available room lists, Not("room" in name))
)

Then, the gallery will filter according to your selection of the radio.632_LI.jpg

2) save roomlist and ridelist as two separate collections

Inset two Screens named Book Room and Book Ride, binging with roomlist and ridelist.

Accoding to the user's selection navigete to corresponding screen.

Set the Radio's OnSelect:

If(Radio1.Selected.Value="Book a room",Navigate(Book Room,None),
                                       Navigate(Book Ride,None)
)
