BrowseGallery Change Background Color during data refresh

Hi all,

I have a few buttons that change sorting order, I'd like to find a way to do a color change while the data is being refreshed, preferable in the onselect button event, once the data is redisplayed, I'd like to change the colow back to it's normal state.

If this possible, how to implement it?

event code might look something like this

Gallery1.fill = RGBA(241,241,241,1);
UpdateContext({SortDescending1: !SortDescending1, SortPriority: "PersonnelNbr"})

Gallery1.fill = RGBA(116,116,116,1);

Re: BrowseGallery Change Background Color during data refresh

This is currently not possible - when you toggle the value of the 'SortDescending' variable, the data flow will be triggered asynchrounously to update the gallery values (possibly making a network call to the server). What you would need is some action that is executed when the network call is being started and when it's completed, which currently doesn't exist. Feel free to create a new feature request in the PowerApps Ideas board for this scenario.
