Bug? BingMaps.GetRouteV2

While answering another thread on the forum today, I was playing around with the Bing Maps connector, specifically the BingMaps.GetRouteV2 function. Each time I use this connector today it returns a blank record. I am using the following syntax:

BingMaps.GetRouteV2("48.0,-114.0","48.0,-115.0").travelDistance

I was expecting a result of a route distance as a number. I have substituted city names "Seattle, WA", postal/zip codes, and other data in the wp.0 and wp.1 strings for this connector. Same result, blank record coming back. I have removed and re-added the connector to ensure that wasn't an issue.

Interestingly, I can get the Power Automate version of the connector to work and return valid records. I will get on Postman and test the API itself, but I expect all is well there.

Anyone else noticing problems with this connector within Power Apps, or see a flaw in what I am doing?

Thanks in advance,
Bryan

Hi @BCLS776 ,

You could try to use GetRoute() intead of GetRouteV2().

Hi @BCLS776 ,

I did a test and it does not work in canvas.

It looks like there is something wrong with the connector.

If the flow can get the correct result, I think you could use the canvas to trigger the flow and return the data to the canvas.

In addition, you could  submit this here.

Maybe it will be fixed sometime in the future.

Wearsky

Thanks Wearsky, you are observing the same issue as me. I will raise a support ticket for this one.
