I have an edit form connected to a SharePoint list with both single select choice and managed metadata fields. If the fields already have values, i can't remove the values. The controls will clear out the values, but after saving the old values are still in the fields.
I can reproduce it on edit form cards that haven't been customized.
Hi @stick97 ,
Could you please share more details of your metadata fields and the controls' formula expression in your Edit Form?
I test on my side, and it saves OK.The test as following.
Data Source: Test(Metadata type)
Hope this could be helpful.
It doesn't look like you saved after deleting the value from the 'Test' field. You deleted the value, set a different value, then saved. Can you try deleting the value, then saving?
I'm also not seeing the value updated in SharePoint.
Also, in case you're wondering, the code for the save button on the edit screen is SubmitForm(EditForm1).
Hi @stick97 ,
Yes, you are right, and I discuss with my teamates, this is really one bug, and we will submit this issue ASAP.
If we receive the responese, I wil update the post.
@v-yuxima-msftI just found out this seems to be happening with Text Input fields, as well. At least those with the format set to number.
