I am not sure if this is a bug or some sort of feature, but at least in version 3.19081.26 I am currently able to zoom into my apps with a pinch zoom.
This behaviour is not desirable.
If it's a feature is there anyway to turn it off? If its a bug, well I guess I am just mentioning it, I am guessing this is a bug because the previous apps I have designed and published on older PowerApps releases were incapable of zooming.
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Garrickv ,
Could you please share a bit more about your issue?
Do you mean that the canvas app could be zoomed with pinch zoom within your Mobile device?
Actually, the pinch zoom feature is new released feature in PowerApps app. Currently, there is no way to disable this feature within PowerApps app currently.
If you would like this feature to be improved, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

Best regards,
Is there a piece of documentation that states this feature has been implemented, that I may reference.
Thanks,
Garrick

Hi @Garrickv
Pinch to Zoom is a standard accessbility feature. Can you please explain a little more about why do you find it problematic? Thanks
Hi @Kavishi_MSFT,
Although pinch to zoom is a standard accessibilty feature, which I am completely fine with, it is a feature that a user usually has to actively enable on most other apps that provide this feature. To my recollection I have not used an app where this feature is enabled by default and cannot be disabled. Having it as a built in feature which cannot be disabled can and will throw users off when using the app. It is also annoying when it happens to a user when unintentionally zooming on some form (I have already had complaints from clients). I left a post in the idea section suggesting this either be enabled based off an app or based off the user using powerapps, the latter suggestion being more preferable as users who do need this for accessibility can turn it on.
Thanks for the response.
@Kavishi_MSFT I sent a reply and tried to edit it a bit and apparently it was seen as spam.
@Kavishi_MSFT @v-xida-msft I agree this should be an optional feature. I find it problematic when using forms and drop-down controls. IMO, I think a long press to activate a magnifying type feature for accessibility control would be a more elegant design. Either way, forcing everyone to accept and use a new feature with a very limited warning, is not ideal. I missed the pinch to zoom notification when you first open the app. I had to ask around about it.
I've got an iPhone SE, and ComboBox set to size 25 font. When I click on the combobox, the application is zooming in substantially. After you pick a selection, you have to click out of the combobox, and then two finger manually zoom out (without clicking on any other part of the application).
