Building a PowerApp form without using the Powerapp Forms built in functionality. Can I still upload to SP list?

Hello,

I am currently modeling a request form in powerapps. I have opted to go without usin the powerapp built in form functions because I disliked the view and how multiple sources couldn't be used at the same time. I believe that I have everything I need for it to be successful other than the knowledge of how does my powerapp play with Sharepoint when I try to submit it? Ideally I would want this information to go into a list, but I am unsure if this is possible.

Please let me know. Thank you!

Jacob

It is possible,  you will need to use Patch() to accomplish this.  It would look something like

Patch(datasource, Defaults(datasource), {ID:First(Sort(datasource,ID,Descending)).ID+1, field1:Textinput1.Text,field2:DatePicker1.SelectedDate, field3: Dropdown1.Selected.Value, etc.)

to show a control in your screen for each field. in your datasource..  A good resource for what you want to do is here with a step by step example:
