Button to email sharepoint list

I have created an app that updates a sharepoint list (lets call it LISTNAME for this discussion). I would like to create a button that that emails the sharepoint list or a link to the sharepoint list. I would think this would be rather simple but I have google and watched some videos and I am quite lost on this one or I am just not getting to the right directions for it.

Re: Button to email sharepoint list

Forgot to add one thing …… does the sharepoint list, when opened in the email, come in excel format or something else?

Re: Button to email sharepoint list

Hi @phillyd023 ,

Do you want to send email with the list content?

I suggest you try send email with html text. The list will show as table in email, not excel.

Try this formula:

1)send email button's OnSelect:

Office365.SendEmail("to email address","subject", HtmlText1.HtmlText, {IsHtml:true})

 2)HtmlText1's contecnt:

"<h3>Data Table HTML Email</h3>" &
"<strong> Items: </strong>" &
"<table width='100%' border='1' cellpadding='5' style='border:1px solid black; border-collapse:collapse'>" &
     "<tr style='background-color:#efefef'>
         <th>field1</th> <th> field2 </th> <th> field3 </th><th> field4 </th>
     </tr>
     <tr>" &
         Concat(listname,
             "<td>" & field1 & " </td>
              <td>" & field2 & " </td>
              <td>" & field3 & " </td>
              <td>" & field4 & " </td>","</tr><tr>") &
"</table>"

The table will show like this in the email:  (html text)

Here's a doc about sending html text in email for your reference:
