Re: CANNOT CREATE A "COPY" BUTTON

Hi @bGud ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to copy the data entered in a screen fields via pressing a "Copy" button, then paste it to somewhere else manually?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs. "Copy"/"Paste" features for entered screen fields is not supported in PowerApps, if you would like this feature to be added, please consider submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Apps-Ideas/idb-p/PowerAppsIdeas

As an alternative solution, you could consider store the screen fields into a collection variable, then when you want to reference the previous entered data, you could reference the column value from the collection directly.

Set the OnSelect property of the "Copy" button to following:

ClearCollect(TempCollection, {Column1: TextInput1.Text, Column2: TextInput2.Text, Column3: TextInput3.Text, ....})

When you want to reference from the collection variable in somewhere else, please use the following formula (set the Default property of Text Input box to following😞

First(TempCollection).Column1
First(TempCollection).Column2
First(TempCollection).Column3

...

...

Please consider take a try with above solution, check if it could help in your scenario.

Re: CANNOT CREATE A "COPY" BUTTON

V-Xida,

Thank you for your elaborated reply, I will give that a try.

I was thinking may be to present the screen in view mode so that the user could then "Copy" using the phone's default "Copy to clipboard", however it doesn't allow to "Copy" the Dropdown menus selection...

Re: CANNOT CREATE A "COPY" BUTTON

Hi @bGud ,

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I afraid that the "Copy to clipboard" feature in your Mobile device could not achieve your needs.

Please take a try with the alternative solution I provided above, check if it could help in your scenario.
