I want to call a specific function in business central to use built in functionality from powerapps. The function generates a excel sheet which i will then attach to email using microsoft flow and then forward it to my clients. But i want to do this using powerapp. What is the best way to do this?
Maybe you can use something like this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/connections/connection-office365-outloo...
The only issue is I do not know for sure if you can attach the excel sheet to the email, but if you can then you use this flow.
Oh, in that case, Business Central can be added as a datasource and you should be able to access that function.
Thanks for your reply but in the documentation there is noting about triggering a BC function. It would be really help ful if you can provide any example, as i am newbie in powerplatform.
Hi @unaseerb , I tried adding Business Central as a data source to test what kind of functions it provide but I wasn't able to. I am sorry I wouldn't be able to help further.
However, I suggest you create a canvas and Business Central as a data source. And then inside the a label text field type:
This should give you a list of things Business Central and maybe you can find if it has what you want.
