Call my WCF service from Flow

Hi guys,

i need to call my WCF service that return a json output from a Microsoft Flow or directly from Powerapps.

From my VB.net application i call the WCF service with the code below.

How can i obtain the same result in a Flow or Powerapps?

Dim GetGiacenze As ServiceReference1.IService1 = New ServiceReference1.Service1Client()
Dim request As New ServiceReference1.estrazione_giacenzaRequest
request.UID = Me.TextBox1.Text
request.pwd = Me.TextBox2.Text
If Me.ComboBox1.SelectedItem <> "" Then
request.divisione = Microsoft.VisualBasic.Left(Me.ComboBox1.SelectedItem, 4)
End If

request.magazzino = "1000"

Me.ListView1.Items.Add("Connessione al servizio web H&B in corso.....")
My.Application.DoEvents()

'Dim string_request As String = request.ToString

Dim response = GetGiacenze.estrazione_giacenza(request)

Re: Call my WCF service from Flow

Hi @Citrix73

We can call web services from Flow or directly from Power Apps using custom connectors.

A WCF service will typically be SOAP based. Here's a link that may help you.

Re: Call my WCF service from Flow

Thanks a lot, I managed to configure the request but now I have another problem the request works perfectly if I use postman But if I configure the same object in powerapps with an object of type request I set all the parameters equal to postman but in this object if i set the method to "get" like postman i can't set the body section because this object require the method Post to set the body.

So if i use the method Post i receive an error that the service not support method "Post"

How can i solve this problem i can use only "Get" method

Re: Call my WCF service from Flow

Hi @Citrix73

Apart from changing your web service so that it accepts a POST request rather than a GET request, I'm not sure what else to suggest. In the configuration page for the custom connector, we can only set the body for POST requests.

Maybe someone else can suggest how to work around this issue...
