Can a PowerApp connect to an Excel datasource living in SharePoint and refresh?

Can a PowerApp connect to an Excel datasource living in SharePoint and refresh?

I've got an excel file from a process generated nightly, and I'd like to stick it out in SharePoint and have the PowerApp just refresh with the latest data each time the user refreshes it.

Hi Brentless,

I am afraid currently this is not available.

As for now there is no available Excel connector for PowerApps to load the Data.

And for the SharePoint connector, it only supports loading SharePoint list or Library metadata at the moment.

There is an idea submitted on this topic:

Create App from Excel file stored on SharePoint

For more information about working with Excel, see:

Connect to Excel in PowerApps

Hello,

I am also very interested for a connector to an Excel on Sharepoint.
Right now it is only possible to connect an Excel on someone's OneDrive, which is not convenient for company Apps as you have to share the access to your OneDrive.

Regards.

Having the exact same problem with this... I don't want to save the Excel file on my personal OneDrive account because then nobody else can manage it/refresh it. Very inconvenient!

This is really unfortunate. I wish I understood the reasoning here.  It will force us to use SharePoint lists no matter what.

There is a new Excel Connector which is a Premium connector - I have not used it but it may be worth a look.
