Can not find the right format to input Phone Number

Hi, all!
I am a beginner for using Power Apps.
Please help me with my issue, thanks!

I am using Excel Hosted by One Drive for my Apps,

and in my excel there is name, email, and phone column field.

But, I got an issue when tried to input phone number, and got error:

"The requested operation is invalid, ... Invalid value for field 'Phone' expected a string."

Here are the failed solutions I have tried:
1) Not put 0 on the start of the number.
2) Change data type for column Phone in my Excel into Text, and refresh my Data Source in Power Apps.

3) Also put Text input above of my Phone Data Card Value, and put syntax "Concat(Filter(Split(TextInput1.Text,""),Result in "0123456789"),Result)" in Default of that Data Card Value.

4) Delete and Re-create Phone field.

Expectation for goals:

*) I can input Phone numbers with 0 on the start of the numbers without any error.

When I deleted the Phone field in my Power Apps, I can input my others data but actually I need to input my phone data but stuck with this issue for these 2 days.

Hi @Delid4ve !

Thank you for your help.

I have found solution with re-making the form from the beginning.
It's working well now!

Where was this error. When you tried to patch it to excel or when you input data..

You probably need to unlock the datacard and change the update field to Text(ValueThatIsAlreadyThere) by the sounds of it.

The Textinput box is probably also set as number input which will need to be changed in the properties of the TextInputBox

Hi @Delid4ve!

The error happened when I click the Submit button on my form.

I have make sure the TextInput Box has "text" has text format in it format field and here's the value of my data card update field : "DataCardValue5.Text", but still get same error.

Do I miss a thing? Please help.

Thank you.

Are you using submit form method or patch?
If you make a patch button it will show you the error between the fields so you can see exactly what is happening
