Can't connect data to PowerApps

In trying to create an app from a blank template and add an Azure SQL table I was met with the following error:

Error

There was a problem adding your data source. Please try again.

Encountered internal server error. The tracking Id is 'd7996998-a9ee-40c7-9f6a-83ec12029700'.

Session ID: 4e547e40-aea8-4393-95d8-8b37b7ff2c92

I waited a few minutes and tried to add a table again and was met with the same error. I then tried to add data from SharePoint and OneDrive, just to see if it was an Azure thing but no joy. Then I went nuts and tried every connection we have, all producing the same error. I also tried adding data to an existing app to the same result.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

So the friendly support staff got me back on track. The issue was a known bug related to having the two different CDS (regular and experimental) connectors in seperate data groups. They mentioned it will be fixed on December 1st but the work around is to put both connectors in the same data group.

The funny thing is that we don't use CDS and I have no idea how one was added to the company data group. Smiley Frustrated At any rate, I am able to connect data sources to apps once again!

Day 4 of not being able to connect to a data source. I tried from home (our ISP at work is in the middle of changing over to fiber optic lines so I thought there might be something on their end) but no joy there.

I am glad that this seems to be a "me problem" but I would appreciate any troubleshooting tips if anyone would care to offer them. All other Office 365/Azure services work as expected outside of PowerApps, I just can't connect a data source to a new or existing PowerApp. I am working on some non-PowerApps projects for the time being so this isn't at a critical state just yet (though I like to do some PowerApping on the weekends).

Some data sources I have tried to connect:

Azure SQL

Office 365 email

Office 365 users

Twitter (personal account)

SharePoint

MSN Weather

Microsoft Forms

OneDrive for Business

All result in the above error (with differing IDs I am sure; I didn't look at that too closely).

@Anonymous Any chance you could connect me to someone to help with this? I am still unable to connect any data sources to PowerApps and I am unsure of what steps I can take to troubleshoot an internal server error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Still experiencing this. I have tried different browsers, different networks, clearing my cache and cookies, the normal stuff people would do. I am also trying to learn how to use network traffic capture tools as I don't know that much about the network side of things. Nothing that I am aware of has changed on our side of things, so I am not sure how to fully troubleshoot this. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated! I haven't been able to use PowerApps for anything new in over a week.

So I broke down and submitted a support ticket. Robot Sad

I will post whatever solution comes from that for anyone who may encounter this in the future.

When trying to create a prowerapp from SharePoint, the annoying authentication loop would keep appearing over and over again. After contacting support I was told the following:

You can clear the cache and cookies in the browser and try to repro it once again.

Or

Try a different browser to check the same.

Our company unfortunatually defaults to IE. Once the browser was changed to Chrome, and I cleared the cache and cookies in the browser, all worked perfectly.

Appreciation to support team for their help.
