Hi!
I'm trying to connect Power Apps to our on-premise SQL-database. I have a data gateway installed and it is working great with Power BI, for example. I can see the gateway in Power Apps, but when I try to create a new connection, I get this error message:
"Your licence(s) doesn't support the use of gateways. To use this feature, start a trial" (screenshot attached)
I can't see how that can be, since I have a Microsoft 365 E5 licence. That should pretty much cover everything.
The info I type in, when trying to create the connection:
Login type: SQL Server Login
Server:
OurServer\MSSQLSERVER
Database:
OurDataBaseName
Username:
SQL-user
Password:
SQL-user password
Gateway:
The gateway I installed

Hi @ilied
Unfortunately, an E5 license doesn't cover the use of on-premise SQL server. This is to is why you see the trial message.
The on-premises gateway is a premium connector and therefore, it requires a per app or user plan.
A per app plan starts at $10/user/month.
There are more details here.
